Kitchen Tips: Cleaning Copper and Brass
Copper is often used extensively in professional kitchens, especially in Europe where pans made of it are highly prized. In fact there are still French chefs who won't whisk eggs in anything else. The problem comes with keeping it clean and sparkling and the same thing may be said of brass. Very little of that is found in kitchens these days, but you may still have some around the house. To clean both, pour on some Worcestershire sauce and rub with a soft cloth. |
