Kitchen Tips: Adding Garlic Flavor
Adding raw garlic flavor to almost any meal is as easy as wiping a cut clove over the surface of the plate or bowl you are using. However the downside is that you are likely to be left with garlic juice all over your fingers, and that's not easy to get rid of. Deal with this by putting the garlic clove inside a small plastic bag and crushing it with a rolling pin or the flat of a knife blade. Turn the bag inside out over the plate, bowl, or even toasted bread that you want to flavor, with your hand encased by the clean side and gripping the garlic. When you are done, strip the plastic bag off your hand and discard it with the garlic still inside. |
